Water sport around Füssen

Games with water, wind and waves.

The unique land full of many lakes is a present of the nature to our guests and relaxation seeker.
The many big and small lakes make this country a real eldorado for water sportsmen.

You can do swimming, paddling, plunging, surfing, sailing, or fishing, or would you like to take a boat trip. Here you’ll find one of the most beautiful water areas amongst Europe.

Water sport centre Forggensee

The biggest lake is the Forggensee (length of 12 km/breadth approx. 3 km). One sees only in winter that this is a reservoir, if the sinking water level gives this one a piece off via Claudia Augusta. From the beginning of June by the middle of October, however, the fourth largest lake of Bavaria offers water and fun in the abundance.

Yachtsmen and surfers come fully onto her expense here. We also have sail- and surfing schools and also natural boat hire.

Numerous regattas offer a coloured flag sea in summer. Berths around the lake like to rent out and/or much interesting courses offer sail clubs.

Everybody who would like to familiarize himself with sailing once finds an interesting supply. (Adult) beginners are led to the sailing in the one-week "beginners course".

Wildwater experience! Rafting tour on the Lech

The neighbouring Lech valley is one of the most original, most beautiful wildwater and natural landscapes of Europe. You can directly book rafting tours of the Lech valley as a half day or whole day tour here. Further information: www.fun-rafting.at .

The nature experience starts at the basic camp in Häselgehr. There you’ll get your equipment, clothes and information. During the journey you learn worth knowing about flora/fauna much at the probably most beautiful river of the Tyrol.
