Fishing is possible in Most lakes around Füssen.
The
fishing season begins in Weißensee, famous for its “Renken”, every year in the
middle of April.
The Hopfensee, Alatsee, the lake in the Faulenbach Tal, the Hohenschwangau Alpsee, Bannwaldsee and the fly fishing stretches at the Lech and its tributaries follow on May first.
Fish types
The Forggensee contains fish of nearly every art, such as pike, zander, eal, trout, renke and all white fish.
