In the Allgäuer “Königswinkel” around Füssen, mountain bikers and cyclists, if serious or just for fun. Everyone comes of their costs, even families with children.
With 1500 km long, and perfectly sign posted routes and 65 all round trips, means that the area of Füssen is a paradise for cyclists. Whether athletically ambitious or just for pleasure. The Alpenland landscape offers a fitting tour for every type of cyclist.
Cycling the 32 km around the idyllic Forggensee counts to one of the most favourite tours. With the “Via Claudia Augusta”, the lake “Constance” and the “romantic Street”, is one of the most inviting cycle tours through the pre-Alpen landscape, with its winding snake like trails.

Also mountain bikers can look forward to a whole lot of pleasure in
Füssen.
21 well signed shields of tours through forests, to
lonesome mountain lakes with marvellous views are waiting for them. Adreline
pure is promised through the single crispy trails. Numerous labelled routes read
through fragrant meadows, shady forests and touching the banks of the lakes.
As already in the year 2006, Füssen is the starting point of the Bike Transalp challenge in 2008.
Füssen is also an ideal base, as a location for cyclists on holiday. In the
Füssen area alone are 17 hotels and guest houses, where the hotels are known as
excellent hosts, namely “cycle friendly” or as “bed and bike”.
