Cross country skiing (Langlaufen)

A glance on the winter sport map makes this award comprehensible.
Like a net, the trails run through the whole of the “Allgäuer Königswinkel”. Alone in the area of Füssen, are about 60 km of easy to difficult tracks, that connect to ther “Loipennetze”. In the Austrian neighborhood are further apportunities to cross country ski, like for example. Tannheimer Tal, A highlight for all northern skiers are the floodlight-trails directly below the Neuschwanstein castle.

Füssen:
Direct next to the former swimming pool, one can
join in two easy round tracks. The first is 4 km and proceeds north of the
“Galgenbichl”. The second joins it and leads as far as the 8 km distant
“Schorenhof”
Hopfen am See:
Two mittle to difficult rounds start in
Hopfen am See. The first is a 5 km long skating track. One reaches the second
round course over the Enzensberg, ober 8 km through an especially appealing
landscape.
Weißensee:
Start point for two ambitionsously round
courses is the parking place in Wiedmar. Here begins a 4 km long skating
stretch, on which one can join to an 8 km long trail. Joining onto the Pfrontner
and Eisenberger Loipennetz.
Höhenloipe Buchenberg:
Of 1150 m runs a “Höhenloipe”
which in a mild winter can course a great deal of cross country
enjoyment.
